Our Story
1979
The Teago Group, founded in 1979, started with a small tea shop in Karwar, Karnataka, established by a visionary entrepr neur who migrated from Kerala, This modest beginning quickly grew into a successful brand with multiple outlets
1990
Our grandfather, an agriculturist by profession, followed his pasion for making Goli soda. With a small shed attached to the family home, he carefully crafted each bottle of the fizzy drink. Using his bicycle, he delivered the soda to a local shop, where it quickly became a neighborhood favorite
2007
Teago marked its international presence by opening its first supermarket in Saudi Arabia and expanding into hypermarkets, juice shops and restaurant.
2015
We introduced a new Café brand called Kafetoz, offering a fresh, modern space for people to enjoy unique beverages and a curated Café experience. This new venture complements our family’s rich history in the beverage industry, adding another dimension to our entrepreneurial journey.
2018
Reintroducing our grandfather’s Goli soda factory in his hometown, we’ve blended tradition with innovation. While honoring his original recipes and methods from 1990, we’ve incorporated advanced machinery and introduced new, in-house production flavors.
2024
After five years of research and development, we decided to expand Goli Soda legacy by offering franchises across India. With a blend of traditional charm and modern eficacy, our franchise model allows enthusiasts and entrepreneurs nationwide to share in the joy of Goli soda, reaching a diverse audience and spreading the passion to new communities.
Now, within a short time we have successfully signed 120+ factories across 19 states, expanding our grandfather’s Goli soda legacy even further. This milestone marks a proud moment in our journey, as we are continuing to blend tradition with innovation.
